This is just a simple bass line i was using for a song i made. Its not much but i figured someone might find use for it. A long time ago there was an ambient randomizing program called koan. This is a sample of a much longer (or boring or shut it off now) koan run. Koan files can now be run on noatikl bless their little hearts.

Recorded with volca fm and microbrute, processed with dod g10 rackmount, digitech rp80 and ableton.

Got a group of about 8 people to say "hey!" a few times. Layered all the takes, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I've used this one a bunch in my own songs. Sometimes, to achieve a convincing gang vocal effect, when i don't have a gang, you can sing your line a few times, and then layer this "hey" under each syllable, and you can get a pseudo-gang vocal. Works in a pinch if your mix is dense enough. I'd love if you'd credit joshua scott or rjc studios if you use this sample, but don't sweat it if you don't. Good artists borrow, great artists steal.

I did it with a synth using abletondon't forget there is the possibility of you having to amplifier and compress for give more punch. Feel free for use it!. A tip from me to you is cut the bassline in pieces, explore all the locations where you can use for start a song. . . Use short parts of the bassline and use stretch and pitch techniques. Just explore and imagines freaky ways of change small samplers to a big and nice bassline! :d.
